Top Buys of 2020

What are my top buys of 2021?

My top three buys for 2021 were:

1. Brasher Country Master Boots - Always wore Brasher since they were first released, when I returned to hiking in 2020 was a no brainer to buy Brasher again. Vibram soles, leather uppers, eVent waterproofing, warm and waterproof. What is not to like?

2. Technicals Glencoe 22L rucksack - cheap yet well specced - mesh front stuff pocket, rain cover, side mesh pouches each side, hip pouches.

3. OS Explorer Map OL5 - NE Lakes - needed a map to return to the fells and nowhere better than my old stomping ground.

There are a few other worthy mentions:

A cheap 79p brush from Boyes to clean my boots, my Karrimor zipped tee shirts from Sports Direct, shirts and trousers from Craghoppers and Páramo braces.

There is also the kit that I bought and didn’t use in 2021:

Jetboil, mini Trangia, Osprey Talon 33, Nordisk Svalbard 1 SU, Garmin InTouch Mini, and Hilleberg Nallo 2 GT tent.
